Yes, I'm still here :)  Quilting/ crafting  when I can.  I just finished this quilt for some friends who just had their third baby.

Baby gift quilt

This is a baby quilt I made for a friend who is pregnant with her fist baby. It has been so long since I have made a quilt! It was so much fun getting back into the swing of things.

Jhet's finished quilt

Here is Jhet's finished quilt. It was really simple and didn't take long at all to put together. It was so nice to be able to quilt again!

It's been forever since I have sewn. I have been so busy with Jhet this passed year that I haven't really had time to sew like I would have liked. I started knitting him a blanket over a year ago and there is no hope of that being finished anytime soon..maybe never...lol. So I picked up a pack of fabrics to make him a quilt. I'm excited to get this made. Hopefully it won't take me forever. Here is a pic of the fabrics.

Finally Finished!

I finally finished Trin's quilt. This is the longest it has ever taken to get one finished, but a little over a year and it's finally complete!

Trin's Quilt Top

Here is Trin's quilt top. On my anniversary my hubby surprised me with a surprise trip to Joann's to go shopping. While I was there I saw this princess fabric I thought would be great for Trin. So I decided to make it into a quilt. Shane was so wonderful walking around and looking a everything with me and helping me pick out fabric and other goodies. This wasn't what I originally intended for Trin's quilt, but I am pleased. It is a very basic pattern, but worked out good since I don't have much energy in me right now.

Baby Snoopy Quilt

Here is the finished Baby Snoopy quilt. The back is the same fabric as the blue on the front. I finished the binding by hand to give it that nicer "look". Tomorrow is the baby shower and I can't wait to give this to the mother-to-be along with her adorable cloth diapers!

Baby Snoopy

Here is the quilt top for a baby quilt I am making for a friend. They are doing the nursery in Snoopy. While searching for Snoopy fabric I happened to find a pack of 4 baby Snoopy fat quarters...I was thrilled to say the least. My friend Christi is gonna embroider the babies name in the middle blue square for me. This was my first quilt that I designed. I got out my graph paper and gave it a try and it wasn't too hard, but this is a simple design.
ps...the colors in the pics are not coming out as accurately as in person.

Christmas Gift Quilt

Here is a pic of my finished quilt. (sorry it's a little crooked). I made this quilt for Shane's Grandma for Christmas. I used the log cabin for this quilt. I'm excited about giving it to her. Shane really likes this quilt too. I finished off the binding by hand. Now off to make more Christmas gifts :)

Christmas Present #1 Quilt Top

Here is the first quilt top from my christmas present quilts. I started it earlier today and finished this much. I still have to add the borders, but I am pleased with the progress I made today.

Mycah's Quilt

Here is the quilt on Mycah's bed. All I have now is to finish his last two pillows, a new bed skirt, and then his curtains and then his room will be finished.

Churn Dash Bed Quilt

Here is Mycah's bed quilt finished. Sorry it's so dark. I am so pleased with it. This has been the most piece work I have done with a quilt. I sewed the binding on by hand which came out wonderful. The name of the pattern for this quilt is "Churn Dash". If you wanna see a brighter view of the quilt you can go here. I'm also gonna try post pics of it on Mycah's bed tomorrow.

Here it is. I went all over town, but finally got my camera back! Yay! I took these pics outside to hopefully get some light on it. Anyways here's Mycah's quilt top. I also have the quilt top for one of his pillows finished as well, It will be atleast another week before I am able to get the backing and batting needed to finish it.
