Embroidered

Mycah's name embroidered in his stocking. No it's not perfect since I had to do it by hand on the machine instead of using an embroidery machine. But it's the best I could do. I did realize that I should have embroidered it before attaching the cuff to the stocking. But since the directions don't call for names on the stockings I didn't know. I guess you live and learn...oh well. It's on there and Mycah loves it.

Here is a pic of Mycah's finished stocking. It came out good. There's a few flaws that you can't see, but it still looks great. All I have to do now is embroider Mycah's name into it. So we'll see how that goes... I'm really happy with it, but now that I have finished one I'm sure that Trin's will be better since I'm familiar with how to put it together.

Snowman applique

LOL...here's my applique snowman for Mycah's stocking. He was made from all scraps minus the buttons. I think he looks better in the pic...lol. But I guess now it's time to go quilt him into the stocking...

My new quilt book and stocking supplies!

Here is my wonderful new quilt book I got. I love it! It has such awesome pretty quilt blocks and designs in it.

Here is a pic of the stocking. Although I'm not using the same quilted squares for mine, and I'm only gonna use one instead of two. Hopefully when I finish them they will look like this...lol.
