Ok...here is a skirt I made tonight. It was one pannel that you buy and it has the instructions on it. I had to piece it, put a zipper and eye and hook in, and put the waist band on. My hubby gave it a thumbs down :( Said he wasn't feeling it. To be honest I don't know if I'm feeling it either. It seems a little long and "to" flowy. It's almost like a poodle skirt. Let me know what you guys think. Should I wear it or get rid of it? Oh yea and I used a rolled hem stitch on it...which came out pretty good but not perfect.

I really like the print. Is there a way to make it more form fitting? To fit tighter and not soo flowy? LEss flowy would be better, but otherwise maybe a skirt you can wear around the house, with a tight shirt.
I like it alot, both the pattern, and your work, but it doesn't seem to be your style if ykwim? I don't think this lenght or pattern would be very flattering in a straight skirt, and long straight skirts are very hard to walk in without a long slit.
what about if you cut part of the top off, and made it shorter?
before I did this I would try to "fold" it up and see if it looked ok, or maybe use pins??? if it was shorter idk if it need to be so full either.
U did a good job. I haven't done a zipper yet and have heard they can be a pain to do.
I think its too flowy also. Can u re-cut and make it less flowy? I like the print and it being flowy but I just think its too flowy.
well, it seems everyone agrees..it's too flowy. shane thinks i should cut it down and experiment with it to make it less flowy and a little shorter. when i have this skirt on i feel like i'm goin danceing or something. i feel like picking up the sides of it and shag dance or something...lol.
At first look I didn't look at the length. I think it would look better above the knee.
yea i'm thinking about the knee too. if i don't give it away i'm gonna work with it and see what i can make of it....lol
I can't tell what it looks like with just part of the picture. I need to see it on you.
